Most shops do Friday the 13th as a walk-in free-for-all — long lines, rushed tiny tattoos, luck of the draw. InkRiver Tattoo is a private, appointment-only studio, so we’re doing it differently: a curated flash day with numbered appointment slots you book like concert tickets. Thirteen exclusive fine-line flash designs, drawn once for this event and never repeated. When the 13 slots are gone, they’re gone.

How the day works

  • 13 exclusive flash designs. Original fine-line designs in InkRiver’s language — sacred geometry, spiritual symbols, micro realism motifs, moon phases, and more. Each design is tattooed a maximum of 13 times (one per slot) and retired after the event. The full flash sheet will be revealed ahead of the event — check back here and on Instagram for the reveal.
  • 13 appointment slots. One client at a time, roughly 45–60 minutes per slot, across the day. No lines, no waiting room crowds — your slot is yours.
  • $113 flat per tattoo. One price, any design on the sheet. (A nod to the theme.)
  • $13 from every tattoo goes to charity. Giving back is part of the day — charity partner details will be announced soon.
  • Booking opens in advance through the booking link below, with a deposit to hold your slot. First come, first served.

The rules (short version)

  1. Appointment only. This is not a walk-in event. You must book a slot in advance — no slot, no tattoo.
  2. Flash designs only. The 13 designs on the sheet are the menu for the day. No custom work, no changes to the designs — that’s what keeps the day moving and the price at $113.
  3. 2–3 inch sizing. Flash pieces are designed at a set size range for quality and scheduling. Arms, legs, and other flat placements work best.
  4. 18+ with valid ID. No exceptions — bring a government-issued photo ID.
  5. Deposit required. Your slot is held by a deposit paid at booking; the balance is due day-of. Deposits are non-refundable if you no-show (your artist blocked the time).
  6. One design per slot. Want two? Book two slots.

What to expect on the day

Arrive a few minutes early for your slot. You’ll pick your design from the flash sheet (or arrive already knowing — the sheet will be public before the event), get a quick placement check with the artist, and then it’s a focused 45–60 minute session in a calm private studio — not a crowded shop floor. Standard aftercare guidance goes home with you, same as any InkRiver piece.

Good to know:

  • Eat beforehand and stay hydrated — even small tattoos go better on a fed body.
  • Wear clothing that gives easy access to your chosen placement.

Why book a flash day at a private studio?

Flash events at big shops can feel like an assembly line. The InkRiver version keeps what makes flash fun — the collectibility, the flat price, the shared date — and drops what doesn’t: the lines, the rush, the mystery artist. You know exactly whose hand is doing the work, you have a real appointment, and the designs are original fine-line flash drawn for this event, not recycled clip art.

And because every design retires after November 13, your piece stays rare. Thirteen people in the world will have each design. That’s the whole point.
